EAD TheaterMaster Ovation Plus The Ovation Plus Preamp/Processor in the photos is the actual unit being sold. It is in pristine condition. There are no dings, scratches, dents or any other imperfections that I can see. It has dts, Dolby Digital, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, PCM & HDCD audio decoding. The dac’s are TheaterMaster Signature Teflon dac’s with Vishay resistors. It also has the new VFD [Vacuum Florescent Display] upgrade. The remote has also been upgraded to the SRC-2000 Touchscreen. I also have the manual.
This Preamp/Processor sounds great on all digital software. The Preamp/Processor I owned before this one was the original Theta Casablanca w-dts & Dolby Digital. In comparing the Casablanca & the Ovation Plus, the Ovation Plus blows the Casablanca away in every way including price. The only other Preamp/Processor that I have used that compares with the Ovation Plus sonically is the EAD TheaterMaster Classic.
You may wonder why I am selling this Preamp/Processor if it is so great. I own another Ovation Plus like this one & an EAD TheaterMaster Classic.
I feel that this manufacturer gets overlooked a lot.
